Hunton Bridge Village
This is the place of my childhood, where I grew up in the 1950s and 60s. In those days values were somewhat different than they are today. Hunton Bridge used to be a close community, and it was home to some real characters.

The Walk
I started from the car park outside Langleybury Church and walked round to see the War Memorial. It still contained many wreaths that had been placed here on Remembrance Sunday. After leaving the Memorial I walked up Langleybury Lane (with the church on my right), past the Vicarage and along the grass verge as far as the first corner in the road. From this vantage point I had a good view across the Gade valley.
